Mowing the lawn is made considerably easier when a quality lawnmower is involved. Murray's 6-speed riding mower with 18.5 horsepower Briggs& Stratton engine, is geared towards larger yards and yields a 43-inch cut.

Murray push lawnmowers are also very popular. The 5.5 horsepower engine with starter yields a 15-inch cut. Many of their push lawnmowers offer mulching, side grass blower or rear bar discharge capabilities. The mulching feature of lawnmowers has become increasingly popular as consumers looks for ways to reduce our landfills. Mulching cuts the grass into a finer consistency and is dispelled back onto the land. Many lawn experts state that mulching is very beneficial for the health of the lawn.
An example of a pushmower/mulching Murray lawnmower is the Murray 224110X48. It features 4.5 horsepower with a Briggs & Stratton engine. The steel deck is 22". It does have mulching capabilities as well as side discharge among its features.
